Our search for a plastic-free alternative led us to find a U.K based paperboard producer who share our values for a sustainable future. They have spent several years researching and developing a plastic-free, paperboard that is 100% virgin fibre, food-grade, food safe and has a water-based barrier coating. All of this is achievable without compromising on the quality and freshness of the liquid within.

Aqueous Coating – A true environment-friendly solution

There is a solution that offers a true environment-friendly option. Our compostable cups are manufactured using an aqueous coating that means your disposable coffee cup can be treated just like any paper or card product. the aqueous coating used is water-based and breaks down harmlessly without any specialist treatments required.
